Looks great Tim! Was this a recent photo or an older one?

I like the camper canvas you have. I am looking for ideas on adding one to my boat. I want something similar, but I might try and run it back straight, to not cut off the headroom at the very stern.

That picture was from last year. The straight canvas is preferable over the slant mine has. I didn't want to buy new hardware to gain the extra inches at the time and regret it.

I hear you. I can almost stand at the stern with no shoes on, but my father, brother and a lot of my friends are taller and can't.

I do however like what you did with the curtains being able to come off all the way around. The camper back thing I have (Cruisers LOVED these, lol) just seems to be more in the way.

Yeah I wanted to be able to totally remove all of the sides and back canvas to keep it as open as I could. When you get the chance you need to post a thread with your boat in action.

I will see about having some friends along with me to shoot some photos. A food friend launched his boat last night just up river, and as soon as the prop is back on I'm sure we will be out.

Thanks Cap'n Ray, I only have two regrets with that paint job
    1. I wish I would have painted the hull completely red and kept the topsides white
    2. I should have clear coated the paint to help protect it more

Other than that we like it.

All red would have REALLY stood out! I'm not sure the clear woulda helped much- it seems to yellow an chip and stuff, and its a real PITA to repair, prolly better without it on the boat- she looks great!

I'm fairly sure the trim on mine was originally red (found some red carpet under a cabinet, and the accent stripes on the sides are dark dark red) but everything on the boat is blue now except tje vinyl stripes, and I'm plannin to scrape em off and possibly put new (blue) ones on.
