    Default Building a radar Arch

Hello, does anyone has built or know how to build a boat radar arch? I would like to build one from scratch for my 2000 Crownline 268 CR.

Depending on how much weight you want it to support- the easiest way is to get the green closed-cell foam sold at Aircraft Spruce and specialty (it is comparable with most epoxy resins) and create the arch from the foam- it's SUPER easy to form and work with. Once you have the shape you want, a couple layers of biaxial glass and epoxy resin will make it remarkably sturdy and permanent. Paint or gelcoat to color and mount with aluminum brackets or screws. Alternatives are custom tube- steel (stainless) or aluminum, and searching for a used one.
